Driving License Category A1
Driving License Category A1 allows you to drive motorized two-wheeled vehicles. It permits you to drive mopeds and small motorcycles that have engine power of no more than 11 kW.

Prerequisites
A driving license category is only available to those who are 16 years of age. This license allows you to drive a light motorcycle, while categories A2 and A are reserved for larger motor vehicles. You also need to complete a first-aid course and theoretical training that follows the complete curriculum. Different driving schools offer this course. All driving schools follow the same curriculum, despite their costs may differ.
The practical training comprises several driving lessons. The classes are between 3 and 4 hours. The instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of your motorcycle and the fundamental rules of road. Training
To obtain a Driving License category A1, you must pass both the theory and the practical test. In addition you will need to attend the seminars and receive instruction. Theory test
The Driving License Category A1 test is a two part test that includes both a theoretical and practical portion. The test is designed to provide you with a basic understanding and knowledge of the highway code. Both parts must be passed to receive your license. The theory test section includes 50 multiple-choice options that you must answer correctly. It is recommended to prepare thoroughly prior to taking it and attend the theory class at a reputable driving academy or motorcycle training center. You can also practice the test online.
Once you have passed the portion of the exam that you took in the theory and passed the theory portion, you can schedule an appointment for the practical test. You must present a valid driver's permit and evidence of identity at the test centre as well as the vehicle you'll be taking the test in. You must also wear a helmet for your motorcycle and carry all the safety equipment you require.
You will receive your driving license within two weeks of when you completed the practical portion of the test. It will be engraved with a gold ring over the expiration date, and you will need to show it whenever you are required to do so. You cannot drive any other vehicle on your licence and you will need to renew it every two years.

Practical test
The test for the practical portion of the Driving License Category A1 exam is split into two parts. The first is the examiner's checking and prepping your motorcycle to drive. After having passed the theory and practical tests, you'll be granted the Driving License Category A1. The driver is able to operate a motorbike with the maximum engine capacity of 125cc, and a power/weight relationship of no more than 11.5 kW per kilogram. You can also operate tricycles with three wheels (trike) with this licence when it has a capacity for the engine of 125 cc or more and a weight/power ratio of not more than 15 kW per kilogram.
Before you can get your license, you'll also need to pass a medical test. You also need to show evidence of a first aid course and pass the vision test. If you are younger than 18 years old, you must get the consent of your parent or legal guardian to apply for a driver's license.
